Teaching: the 15 Steps, Step 5
Homework for this Session
For the next class I would like you to read the Lecture: Unity and Duality. Please read this lecture 3 times and take notes on it. There may not be time due to the fact that there are only two weeks before the next class but if you do have time write a summary of the lecture and an outline. To prepare a lecture for teaching it is recommended to read it three times and to take notes. It is the process of writing, the guide states, that helps to embody the material. But if you do not have time please simply read it three times and take some notes for yourself. This is not to be handed in.
Next, I would like to invite Craig for the next class and hopefully Tricia, but I have not heard back from her yet if she can make it or not. Because it is Craig’s first class and our first time with him I would like to do the homework differently than I suggested on-line Tuesday. I want you to follow the first four steps that I reviewed with you and then to write them up to be handed in. Please follow the guidelines on the worksheet that I sent you. I will not do supervision on-line this time. I will simply ask you how your experience was giving and receiving the sessions but without the details spoken about the session in class. Then I will read and comment on your homework and send it back to you. I will then teach the next few steps in class as I did last time.
I am wondering if it is possible for Craig to be a witness to Pol and Erna’s session since you do know Craig. The two of you will give the session to each other and Craig will observe. Please let me know if that works for you or not. If not then I will wait for the next time and ask him to join your group as a three some.
I hope this is clear.
